POMPEYA
POMPEYA is an indie-pop band from Moscow that sings in English. The band’s style is inspired by the music of the 70s and 80s, serving as a bridge between the pop heritage of past years and the present time. Beautiful new wave vocal melodies, danceable live bass grooves, post-punk guitars, and dreamy sounds of Roland and Yamaha synthesizers all come together to create a unique blend suitable for dancing or simply daydreaming. Imagine something in between The Cure, Roxy Music, and A Ha* — this is roughly how Pompeya sounds.
